October'18 | Mood Board & Music Playlist
It’s been a hot minute since my last mood board and music playlist post, yet these are my favourite to curate. The idea of sharing music and imagery that has pioneered my mood for the month is satisfying, I like to part with the small things that have inspired me, in hopes that it inspires you too! This month has been a heat wave of head scarves, clear unconventional bags and linen pieces, tequila drinking and working out to eat out. Above and below are a few pins from my boards that I feel encapsulate the start of summer, colour schemes and beach day dreaming… Make of it what you want, its your summer day dream.
During the month of October I found that this curated playlist put me in a ‘dance in my seat’ mood and kind of worked as ‘brain food’ music, many idea’s and concepts were born form this playlist (good ones I might add).
‘Why don’t you’ by Cleo Sol is my favourite track of the month. In particular circumstances lyrics are learnt for the enjoyment and I’m not one to pick up on what the message is, but try to lend an ear for more than the enjoyment this time. The jazzy/R&B tune hit a soft spot as it speaks about growth and honesty being a fundamental part of life experiences, something we should all take note of. There are a few other tracks that speak along the same wave length, but the common thread, holding this playlist together, is the soulful sounding instrumentals, gearing you up for the summer weather. I sneak in A LOT of my favourite tracks into my Instagram stories, so give me a follow if you would like to hear more!
I look forward to creating more of these posts, enjoy the playlist!
